What should I do if I experience a dental emergency?

We do offer emergency dental services. Call our office line at (231) 737-5500 to find out how to contact Dr. Mogren in case of an emergency.

How do I know when it’s time to come in for a check up?

You should have a routine dental check-up twice a year. To make it easy, we usually say every 6 months. Our front desk staff will help you schedule your next appointment at the end of each visit. You will then get a postcard and/or an email sent to you closer to your appointment date to remind you.

Do I have to floss everyday?

Yes, you should make flossing a part of your daily routine. It helps to remove plaque and food left in between your teeth that brushing just can’t remove. It also helps break up bacterial colonies so they don’t grow creating tooth decay, gum disease, and bad breath.

What type of post treatment precautions should I take?

The type of post treatment care you should be doing is dependent on the dental services you received. Take a look at our services page and click on which service you are planning on having or recently had. Here you will find what you should be doing for post treatment care for that service.

What types of insurance do you accept?

The 3 main insurance companies we work closely with are Aetna, Cigna, and Delta Dental. However, we will bill out to almost all insurance companies. Care Credit is also accepted. You can call our office at (231) 737-5500 and our front office staff will be glad to look into your particular insurance company.
